Other Partnerships

Besides the partners who support the projects structurally i.e. so much money, for so many years, for this purpose (above) we work with a number of organizations and individuals. Below is a short synopsis of some of them:

Municipalities: We work in cooperation with the Municipalities in our working areas as described in the Structural Projects. We support them technically and share resources from time to time. We are obliged to get approval to run a project in any Municipality.

Every year we reach out to a couple of Municipalities sharing our experiences where we are not physically present. 

The Media: Media are important partners of our advocacy efforts. We work with and to them magnifying our stands and helping build their capacity to dig educational issues deeper. We mainly work with the Educational Journalists Group (EJG), Shikshak Monthly and EduKhabar – the educational portal.  

Our members also write and speak about topical educational issues.

CSOs: We work with other civil society organizations that work around education. We partner with Educational Awareness Forum, based in Bagmati Municipality, and work with Kathmandu-based Karkhana Group occasionally. We are a part of Nepal Campaign for Education (NCE) an umbrella organization of NGOs working around education in Nepal.

We also reciprocate collaboration with the Alliance of Agriculture for Food – seeking to combine food and education.

International Partnerships: We have been receiving interns from educational faculties as short term volunteers who give hands in our work while they learn. These institutions include Luca School of Arts, Gent, Erasmus Hogschool, Brussels, Belgium. 

Individuals: We have been blessed with a number prominent individuals in the sector extending their moral and physical support both nationally and internationally, of course, besides general members and the board.
