Ward education seminars were held in wards 1 and 2 of Amachodingo Rural Municipality (RM) of Rasuwa and ward no. 2 and 7 in Makawanpurgadhi RM. There are 5 wards in this Amachodingmo RM and 8 wards in Makawanpurgadhi RM. The seminar discussed problems and solutions related to improve public school education in the Municipalities and wards. In this seminar, education stakeholders at the ward level, including teachers, head teachers, parents, school management committee chairpersons and committee members, ward chairpersons and ward office representatives, and individuals interested in education, participated in the discussions. The Constitution of Nepal places school education under the jurisdiction of local bodies. To increase interest in education at the local level, CEPP organize discussions are held through Ward Education Seminars. The seminar help to raise awareness to improve school education from the ward level. This will also help to put pressure on local governments to prioritize education.
